ABOUT US
The Exclusive Film Network started as a mom
and pop entity, which sprang from Robert and TobyAnn Hendrickson's
TOBANN INTERNATIONAL PICTURES. In the late 1990's, Robert saw the
possibilities for a network of internet websites dedicated to the
release and presentation of exclusive audio visual and print
material, where mostly miss-information existed before. He then
proceeded to secure the relevant domain names, such
ExclusiveFilms.com, ExclusivePhotos.com, etc., including even
ExclusiveNews.com.
The primary "possibility" was that eventually
anyone could post their own exclusive media material on a
corresponding EFN website. i.e.: exclusive film of the Titanic
sinking could be posted on ExclusiveFilms.com or a current exclusive
news item, captured on video, could be posted on ExclusiveNews.com.
If someone wanted to create an actual movie, using rare footage,
they could simply edit it, add sound, and then post it on
ExclusiveVideos.com, where they could make some money by receiving a
percentage of "pay-per-view" profits.
At the time EFN was born, Hendrickson also
began the "Legend of Charles Manson" film project, which was
intended to promote the launching of ExclusiveFilms.com and
establish credibility for the network. Just as the 5 hour
mini-series rough cut was being completed, a counterfeit ring put
Hendrickson's original 1973 MANSON movie out on DVD, which led to
the legendary Hendrickson vs eBay lawsuits. In 2001, the Federal
Court made a well crafted "first impression" decision which included
the now famous "Planet X" analogy. Even today, the "analogy" is
quoted in courtrooms all across the country, in order to establish
exactly when an otherwise DMCA protected service provider may become
liable for copyright infringement.
Recently, as Robert Hendrickson was editing his
new MANSON II motion picture, he obtained some color WWII footage,
which prompted him to search his own archives, which then led to the
discovery of a large reel of color film, which appears to have been
taken in connection with Edward "Butch" O'Hare and his confrontation
with the then newly developed Japanese "Betty" bombers. Apparently,
gun cameras loaded with color film caught entire dog fights between
these deadly fighter bombers and US "Wildcats." "Butch" became
WWII's first flying ace, war hero and a Medal of Honor recipient.
Because, the actual story of the Pacific campaign and the joint
efforts of the US Air Force, Navy and Marines have never been fully
revealed, Hendrickson feels compelled to drop everything and put
together this incredible story of human endurance and sacrifice. His
own Father was at sea in the Pacific when Robert was born in 1944,
and was one of the first to land on the Japanese Islands after the
atomic bomb was dropped, thus this project has taken on a special
meaning of its own.
If you have any film or photos of friends or
family as they experienced any part of WWII's Pacific campaign, you
can email us a photo and brief story for possible inclusion in
Robert Hendrickson's "My Father's War".
We have acquired a brand new Apple Final Cut
Pro digital editing system and although it takes some time to
comprehend its entire capabilities, the final post-production of all
our films is going quite well, including The 5 hour Legend of
Charles Manson. We hope to have previews up soon.
Thanks for your interest.
