I'd
like to hear more about how he actually brainwashed his
"family" how he programmed them.
To
treat this particular e-mail intelligently and to make a comprehensive
response would require enough pages to fill a small book. To
address the above request with the paper space and point of view of a
typical magazine article would only serve to create another myth or
misunderstanding.
Therefore, our first reaction was to put this request aside, but
hauntingly we realized that if we could erase those specific elements
"brainwashed" and "programmed" from the Charles Manson equation, there
would be absolutely NO Charles Manson, as we know of him today.
That he was a "far out" character convicted of mass murder is without
notable significance, but that he could brainwash and reprogram
competent human beings goes to the very essential merits of the Legend
of Charles Manson. Put another way; had the Prosecutor, in the
Manson murder case, failed to convince the jury that Manson did in
fact "brainwash" and the "Program" his "family" to commit specific
murders, there would have been NO legal basis for conviction of
Charles Manson under reasonable conspiracy laws. Those who did
the actual physical murdering would have been just "stupid" or
incompetent for listening to Manson.
Further, in the entire just expired 20th century or possibly even more
that the last hundred years, NO one on record, except Adolf Hitler,
has brainwashed and then programmed a number of persons to commit mass
murder. And only with Manson has this fete been proven to be
fact in a court of law. Wow! When you put this whole
Manson thing in that kind of perspective, skyrockets should be
exploding in your brain.
Imagine this; the greatest accomplishment of the President of the
United States of America, during his entire 8 year term, was to
convince one slightly overweight, fairly good looking young girl to
give him a little physical pleasure. Charles Manson got more
than that from strangers off the street, in the street, before even
knowing their names. It seems every young man in the world would
give anything to have that kind of power.
It
remains an undisputed fact that it takes the United States Army 8 to
16 weeks to "brainwash" a young recruit into becoming a "killing
machine." Manson reduced the time requirement to less that two
weeks for one family member.
Has no one, in the last thirty years, thought of extracting from
Manson his time saving, cost effective method(s)? The keyword
here is thought. Manson had twenty some years to think
behind bars and that's before the infamous Tate-LaBianca Murders.
But now we're thinking, if we produce the actual blueprint to Manson's
methodical reprogramming process, we could possibly make far more
money exploiting that, that selling movies over the internet.
After all, you would have to be a complete loser NOT to want to
control others. The U.S. Government alone should pay millions
for the secret.
We
could even contract with the government to "reprogram" criminals NOT
to commit crimes. To the highest bidder, we could even tailor
make a specific program for brainwashing voters into voting for the
political party NOT of their choice.
All kidding aside, to the thoughtful person who emailed us the
profound request, we are now seriously considering putting together
the "secret formula" for Manson's personal power. Actually, this
idea was contemplated for group seminars many years ago. Of
course, the premise then was to harness Manson's power for
constructive purposes in fields requiring creativity, innovation and
management control.
Now, the time is probably right for dissemination of such a powerful
force into a society that hasn't much else to lose. It will take
some meaningful quality time to effectively translate the amazing blue
print to Manson's greatest secret into laymen terms, but hopefully we
can provide such, as maybe a supplement to "The Legend of Charles
Manson."

We

Imagine a man emerging from 20 years of incarceration. Now
imagine that same man being a young boy, devoid of any traditional
social indoctrination prior to commencing such a lengthy experience.
To look at it from another perspective, see the "wolf boy" from that
famous story about a young child being raised by wolves in the forest.
You should have no problem imagining the wolf boy's eventual thinking
process. He will think just like a wolf. And likewise, the
young man sent to prison will think just like the prisoners who raised
him. But of course, we would imagine him to now be a specific
stereotypical ex-con as traditionally portrayed in the mass media.
Normally, we would be very correct in identifying such a character,
but what if by some aberration that young man raised by what we
assumed were just typical criminals was actually taught for many years
by "mental giants." And what if, unlike the typical school child
bored with his teacher's lack of stimulating material, "prison boy"
absorbs every word uttered by characters worthy of inclusion in a
who's who of masterminds.
The obvious reaction to "mental giants" in prison should be, what?!
There are only scum bags in jail! But the fact is , everyone
form doctors and lawyers to politicians find themselves behind bars
and for twenty years Charles Manson learned his ABC's from the best of
them.
It
is documented that when a new prisoner arrived, if Manson understood
that person to be of some significance, he would con the guards into
reassigning himself to being the new prisoner's cellmate.
Charlie would literally sit on the cold floor in front of the new
prisoner and soak up every story that could be put upon him. For
every "special" prisoner young Manson became their protégé.
One example of Manson's professors was the legendary Alvin Karpis, who
even to this day holds the record for successful bank robberies or
maybe he is better known for his association with the notorious Ma
Barker.
Close your eyes and imagine an aging Karpis explaining to a young
Charlie how he and Ma would drive up in their 1930 Packard to the
First National Bank of Middle America and with "tommy guns"
blazing in broad daylight, Al and Ma would make Bonnie and Clyde seem
like tenderfoots.

was Alvin's idea to create the Ma Barker gang as a subsidiary in order
to knock off more banks. Perhaps, Alvin convinced Manson that a
women's work is NOT best served in the kitchen. Alvin also
taught a young Charlie to play the Guitar, which obviously became an
integral part of Manson's later life.
A
long time friend and fellow prisoner with Charlie tells the story of
how on one specific occasion another prisoner went screaming mad,
proclaiming "Charlie's doing magic, Charlie's doing magic." And
that Manson has mastered the Black Art of Satan's Power is certainly
accepted today a fact, not only by the jury that convicted him, but by
those housing the most skeptical of minds.
Dealing with reality forces us all to accept the fact that there will
always be only ONE Charles Manson, but through cyberspace one day very
soon, many may possess his power.
