Is Helter Skelter, Islam rising?

"The thought of justice as being Jesus Christ dying on the cross is nearing completion," said Catherine Share (Gypsy) 30 years ago.

"Islam is rising," said Sandra Good 30 years ago.

"When it comes down, when the balancing, the last WAR, the battle of Armageddon everyone will be fight'in over what they think is valuable," said Steve Grogan (Clem) 30 years ago.

"Everybody's ready, everybody's got their guns together. Most people do and everybody who doesn't, should," said Brenda McCann 30 years ago.

"And they know it's gonna happen, they know," said Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme 30 years ago.

But, what no one else understood then, was that the Manson Family was talking about September 11, 2001, the real beginning of "Helter Skelter."

So that you might understand now, we have to go back, over 30 years, to when Charles Manson was serving a ten year sentence for a bad check. It was the middle 1960's and the Vietnam War was becoming the mainstay for selling newspapers and punishing heathens.

Because, under the military draft system, minorities like Blacks and Mexicans, were the majority targets on the front lines, the "Black Panthers" emerged to rebel against "equal opportunities" made available ONLY in the rice paddies, of far away Vietnam. The Black Movement quickly adopted the Muslim banner and the teachings of Islam as its calling card.

In prison, where the majority at that time was Black, the "Black Muslim’s ruled the yard, and just like in the movies, the "White Aryans" would stick to their side of the yard, the "Browns" to their side and the "Black Muslims" to theirs, but one white man was allowed to visit with the Blacks.

Manson's ranking as someone who would never snitch or otherwise betray, combined with his charming boyish personality permitted him a front row seat at "Muslim" yard conversations. If you can visualize a younger Charlie then, sitting with his legs crossed, just like a little boy, at the feet of these 6 foot 5 inch Zulu type warriors, as they discussed the last battle, the War of Armageddon, where Muslim against Christian would finally put the Nation of Islam in power, then you can understand that from Manson's perspective, because the Blacks were already in power in prison, in his world (prison), it only made sense that this powerful Black Army would be the ultimate victors in the last battle on the "outside."

When Manson got out of prison in 1967 and "the Manson Family" multiplied, it was only natural, around a campfire at night, for Charlie to offer tales of the ''Black Muslims" becoming the conquerors in the "Final Battle." The others had stories of childhood scouting, bicycle riding and swimming lessons, but Charlie's entire childhood consisted of listening to the likes of gangsters and revolutionaries in the only back yard he ever knew, the prison East yard.

If you're a teenager sitting around a campfire with others, and the only exciting tale you have to tell is of your falling off a bicycle and bruising your knee, and in contrast, one of you speaks of learning to play the guitar from a member of the notorious Ma Barker Gang and sitting in on the actual planning of the Battle of Armageddon, who do you think is going to get ALL the attention?

To the more educated in the Family, the Muslim vs. Christian final War would be merely a completion of historical prophecy, but to many others, like Paul Watkins, it meant a "Black vs. White" thing. Fortunately, for the prosecutor Bugliosi, Watkins provided the perfect "Black vs. White Race War" motive.

If we use the Prosecutors analogy that "Helter Skelter" was a label aptly put upon Manson's "warped and twisted" belief that a "Black and White" final battle was to take place, would it NOT be just as "warped and twisted" to believe that a great Muslim vs. Christian Final Battle will some day erupt?

So listen very carefully to what your religious leaders are planting in their sermons about the events surrounding September 11, 2001, and we are not just referring to the likes of a Jerry Falwell or Billy Graham. The prime minister, of Italy, Silvio Berlusconi said of the recent events that, "We must be aware of the superiority of our civilization... The West will continue to conquer peoples, like it conquered Communism, even if it means a confrontation with another civilization, the Islamic one."

"This will be a war of good vs. evil," said President Bush of the United States only a few days ago.

"Armageddon, the scene of the final battle between the forces of good and evil, foretold in the New Testament 'Revelation of St John the Divine' number 16, the battle itself." says Webster's Dictionary, then and now.

Was the Charles Manson Family just a bunch of drug crazed hippies on a murderous rampage or were they, like St John, trying to tell us something? We think there is more to the story.
