"My
Father's War"
aka "The Good War"
In
order to have a good war there must be parades and there must be a
bad guy, as well as a few real heroes. For sure, World War II of the
1940's was the last such conflict in which all the necessary
ingredients were visible. Real bad guys like Adolf Hitler and the
Japs made America's fight not only justified, but a noble cause. As
for heroes, after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, men like
"Butch" O'Hare would soon find their names carved into military
history. (see air attack of "Betty" bombers in "My Father's War"
preview) Even the President's son James Roosevelt, as second in
command of a now legendary "Marine Raider" battalion would find his
name revered forever. And then, all "Raiders" fighting for control
of Japanese held islands in the Pacific would become the inspiration
for all US Marines, even today.
Unlike
the Vietnam War, where parades were replaced with demonstrations and
riots, and unlike the Iraq War and the Vietnam War, where
Presidential lies were used to manipulate support in favor of
aggression, the evil deeds of Nazi Germany and Japan were
self-evident for all to witness. (see preview of "My Father's War")
This is precisely the difference that made World War II a good and
honorable war, instead of a controversial blight on American
history.
In
MANSON II you will witness how President Lyndon Johnson's actual
fraud upon the American people and President Nixon's continued
lying, eventually caused a once united nation to split into. Thus,
leaving an extremely vulnerable people to actually go crazy. To add
even more chaos to a corrupt situation, it was the heroic fathers of
WW II that sent their own sons to suffer in the bloody jungles of
Vietnam. And now it is the selfless fathers of Vietnam that are
donating their sons and daughters in order to fertilize the soil of
far away Iraq.
Therefore, we think it is time to examine and reflect upon the only
civilized reason one nation may be justified in reeking havoc upon
another. On top of authentic battle scenes shown in "My Father's
War," you will be treated to never before seen images of American
life, as it unfolded during the war years. Coming soon, from TOBANN
