Since
our NEWS FLASH of August 9,1999 much has evolved in the production of the
"The Legend of Charles Manson." The visual picture is
complete, but approximately 60% of the music and sound effects need to be
incorporated. That process is especially time consuming because we
are still searching for original sounds recorded 30 years ago. In
other words, we want the sound of "the rooster" at Spahn Ranch
that was recorded then. This might sound silly, since there are
sound effects libraries full of rooster sounds, but because the entire 5
hour + motion picture contains only authentic footage we are
demanding that the whole movie be authentic.
Music has become another problem. Not because
we don't have enough, but because we have so much, we can't choose.
Sandy Good and "Squeaky" Fromme, many years ago left with us the
original "Family" music recorded before the Tate Murders (with
Charlie Singing). As well, we have all the music we recorded of The
family singing while making the original "Manson" movie.
And photographs, literally hundreds, if not a
thousand photos were taken during the filming of The Family over a period
of two years. In the 5 hour mini series, we haven't even gotten to
the stills yet. An interesting side note about photos is that while
searching through the vault we found the original poster that the girls
sat vigil with in front of the courthouse. One side says FREEDOM and
the other is a collage of Family photos and things tracing the Manson
Family's life. It's hard to believe, but someday it could end up in
the Smithsonian Institute.
As we have proclaimed before, nothing will be
censored and in some reels of film we have even left the camera slates
on. What is emerging is a chilling mystery tour through heaven and
hell. Whether you imagined the Manson Family as a monstrous love and
terror cult or a Hippie flower child family, all your preconceptions might
be shattered. I Robert Hendrickson filmed The Family 30 years ago
and I now realize that all the pieces to the incredible puzzle have never
been assembled before now. What is so bizarre is that 30 years ago
the Family provided me and my fellow filmmakers with all the puzzle
pieces, but we failed to assemble them correctly or even use most of the
pieces.
If the events of Columbine High School shocked
you, you don't even want to go near "The Legend of Charles
Manson." And if the Blair Witch Project gave you
nightmares, consider yourself warned, log off this website and
never return, because we are going to unlock the gates of hell and
suck you in.
Do you actually think that you are
safe living in America?
Who really murdered Ronnie Howard and why? Sharon Tate was warned to
leave her house two days before the massacre! Was Rubin Salazar
assassinated and were his killers caught on film? Was there a
Charles Manson "double" or look-a-like directing the
Family? How involved was the Manson Family with the Hollywood in
crowd? Were the Branch Davidians eliminated in Waco because America
could not handle another "Family"? And for a hundred bonus
points, what notorious Manson Family Killer is living right next door to
you, today?
You might ask yourself, why is this
website so hard to find?
Why is it not listed with any major search engine? Why has the
established media put a blackout on this site? IT'S CALLED SCARED TO
DEATH! It has been brought to our attention that unleashing Manson
near the end of the millennium might even cause some hysteria or panic and
we are taking that threat very seriously.
So once again, please understand that this project is like making 3 or 4
complete movies and we refuse to compromise in any way. Although, 5
hour movies are usually not shown in theaters, we plan on showing it in
selected theaters on a trial basis. As for the internet, broadband
is still only available to about a million people and we simply don't know
how to deal with the delay in it's growth. Rest assured, if the
government does not ban "The Legend of Charles Manson" as they
did in 1975 with the original "Manson", you will see it.
